You have questions. You’re not alone. Here we’ve shared some of the most common questions we answer about InformYES.
We accept most major credit and debit cards. This allows us to maintain security for the members in our community. While your identity is cloaked and your anonymity is maintained with other members, we have the ability to identify and cancel membership for anyone engaging in inappropriate behavior with other members.
That is a personal choice of course, however coaching will provide more personal help to better understand your unique experience with addiction. Our trained professional addiction coaches will help you to apply the information you are learning directly to your personal circumstances.
You have access to your account for any changes…including cancellation by logging in with the information that was provided to you. You should receive a confirmation acknowledging any changes made to your account. If you need further assistance, please use the Contact Us page.
The truth is that you won’t know if this will work for you until you try it. However, we think you know your life isn’t working right now. At the very least you will gain a better understanding of the nature of your problem and the steps you need to take to make the necessary changes. The truth is that the biggest deciding factor in any program is you and your willingness to change!
At InformYES, your privacy and security is our top priority. Your e-mail address and any other information related to your identity is maintained on our secure servers. While all secure methods to protect your information are in place, and we take your safety seriously, no company can 100% guarantee that any online system cannot be breached, thus you are accepting responsibility and risk in allowing InformYES to store your information. Also, keep in mind that it is up to you to maintain your anonymity by communicating exclusively in the InformYES community and with your avatar.
A “smart phone” is not required but would certainly make it more convenient to take advantage of all the benefits of the program. A cell phone with text messaging is sufficient as long as there is regular (daily) access to a computer and email. For those that have restricted computer use, it is possible to limit access to only the applications required by the InformYES programs. If you aren’t comfortable using technology, InformYES probably isn’t a good fit for you.
Stakeholder is a term that was developed for business to refer to someone who has an interest or concern in its success. We thought this term was appropriate for recovery as well. Stakeholders include family, friends, employers and the community. Recovery must go deep and wide to provide the sort of resilience that the programs at InformYES encourage and promise. This will require that the stakeholders embrace their own recovery…in ways that begin to reveal themselves as the immediate crisis of the active problem retreats.
InformYES makes use of the most readily available and secure technology. Mentoring and coaching uses a web-based video conferencing platform. Education is delivered through email, web content and video. Follow-up, if required, is made convenient and minimally invasive with the use of online assessment tools that are accessed daily.
